Tioga County is taking special steps to honor the memory of its World War Two casualties and survivors December 7 on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

A ceremony is being held at 12:55 p.m., the time Japan bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941.  The ceremony will be held at the Tioga County Veterans Memorial on the south lawn of the Tioga County Court House in Owego.

American flags are also being flown at half staff for the day.
