Tioga County Man Lands Back in Jail After Release in Chemung

A Candor man is finding himself back in jail right after being released from custody in Chemung County.

Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say 38 year old Torrie Savunen was arrested at 12:00 a.m. July 5 for criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material.  He was also wanted by the Town of Owego for a parole violation.

Savunen was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $2,500 bail.
