Tioga County Man Jailed on Assault Charge

A 43-year-old Tioga County man was arrested after a reported disturbance.

Authorities say Miguel Warona of 14 Main Street, Lockport, was arrested Sunday afternoon.

Investigators say Warona was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, the charges were filed following a domestic dispute.

Warona was arraigned in Barton town court. He was sent to Tioga County Jail on $2,500 bail.
