A parolee from Tioga County has been accused in a burglary spree on Binghamton's South Side.

Authorities say 27-year-old Cody Blake of Waverly is suspected in three incidents in one neighborhood last week.

Police say Blake has been charged with three counts of second-degree burglary.

Blake is believed to have burglarized a Hayes Street residence on August 8. He's also suspected in incidents on Otseningo Street and Belden Street the following day.

Investigators say Blake was taken into custody at a residence on Chemung Street in Waverly.

Police say they executed a search warrant at that location and recovered several things which had been reported stolen in the burglaries.

Officials say Blake had been sought by the state Department of Corrections Community Supervision for absconding parole. Detectives say Blake is on parole for a burglary conviction.
