Tioga County Man Accused of Attacking Woman

A 41-year-old man was sent to Tioga County Jail after he allegedly assaulted a woman.

Authorities say Michael Vrabel of Candor was arrested on Sunday.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, he was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Investigators say the arrest followed a reported domestic incident at Vrabel's residence on Upper Fairfield Road.

Vrabel was arraigned in Candor town court. He was ordered held on $5,000 bail. His next court appearance was scheduled for June 13.
