Tioga Chamber of Commerce Distributes Sanitizer to Businesses

As Phase Three business reopening gets underway in the Southern Tier and Phase Four anticipated in a couple weeks, businesses are looking at their stock of cleaning and other supplies to comply with state regulations. 

Businesses that are reopening in Tioga County are getting some help in meeting their sanitation goals from The Chamber of Commerce.

The agency has acquired New York-made hand sanitizer it is making available for establishments.

Free gallon jugs of hand sanitizer can be picked up from 9 a.m. to noon June 17-19.

The Chamber of Commerce is working on the distribution in partnership with Tioga County and Tioga County Emergency Services.

Also in Tioga County, the Department of Motor Vehicle is poised to reopen.  Business will be conducted by appointment only starting Monday at the office on Main Street in Owego.  Information can be found at the county website: tiogacounty.com.
