A SWAT team assisted drug investigators in a raid at a single-family residence in Binghamton.

Authorities say three men face felony charges following the confiscation of 48 grams of crack cocaine in the city's First Ward.

Investigators say they found the drug packed for sale in 163 individually wrapped pieces when the executed a search warrant at 10 Baxter Street. They also seized drug packaging materials.

Police arrested 39-year-old Dashawn Smith and 21-year-old Dwayne Benjamin, who both reside in the Baxter Street home. They also arrested 42-year-old Rashiem Tompkins of The Bronx.

All three men were charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. They each were charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were being held at Binghamton police headquarters awaiting arraignment in city court.
