The Town of Union Economic Development Office with the International Economic Development Association is hosting meetings to provide technical assistance to strengthen the Town’s economy and capacity for long-term disaster recovery.

A team of national experts is meeting with businesses, local officials and organizations March 3, 4 and 5 to develop a better understanding of the current economic development climate.

The IECD plans to provide a future report outlining ways to strengthen existing programs and strategies and to develop new plans for making the community more resilient in dealing with a future crisis.

Businesses that want to participate should plan to attend the March 3 meeting from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Town Board Room on the second floor of the Town Office Building on Main Street, Endwell
