Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is planning to bring his campaign to the Binghamton area.

Sean Hannity will be visiting Binghamton on Friday (April 15) for a "town hall" event with the United States senator from Texas.

The local event is one of three involving Hannity and the three GOP presidential candidates this week.

The first was with Ohio Governor John Kasich on Monday in Saratoga Springs. The second will be with Donald Trump on Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

Hannity is conducting the sessions for his Fox News Channel TV program. They are recorded in advance for broadcast a few hours later.

More information will be announced about the Cruz event on Hannity's radio program on WNBF and on wnbf.com

The local visit will come four days after a Binghamton campaign rally by Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
