Winter Storm Warning

As of 4 a.m. November 15 the National Weather Service had upgraded earlier watches and advisories to full –scale warnings.

Forecasters say snow and blowing snow are expected.

The National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Storm Warning for Broome and Chenango Counties in New York and Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties in Pennsylvania.

Winter Storm Warnings and Weather Advisories are in effect for the Twin Tiers until early March 8.

The National Weather service is upgrading the previous Winter Storm Watch for the region to a Winter Storm Warning from 11 p.m. March 1 to 1 a.m. March 3.

A number of businesses, schools and government buildings are still closed due to Winter Storm Stella.

The National Weather Service has a Winter Storm Warning in effect until 8 p.m. with heavy snow accumulating up to two feet.

Officials are warning residents in the Twin Tiers to prepare for the possibility of over a foot of snow from a storm set to blow through the area.

Motorists in the Southern Tier continue to be hit with difficult winter driving conditions.

The Twin Tiers are bracing for the latest round of winter weather.
