Wind Advisory

Rain is expected through the day and a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2 p.m. April 16 for areas including Cortland, Chenango and Delaware.

High winds overnight and into the early morning hours have caused a number of issues with trees and power lines.

The National Weather Service put out a wind advisory from noon until midnight for most of New York State with a chance of wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour.

Motorists are being cautioned to give themselves extra time as heavier than expected snowfall has come to the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for 5 p.m. March 28 to 6 a.m. March 29 for much of the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pennsylvania.
