There have been an unusually high number of COVID deaths in the Southern Tier reported over the week from October 31 to November 4.

Broome County and many surrounding areas are now reporting daily new COVID cases at zero or in the single digits.

Dozens of people took advantage of a walk-up Covid-19 vaccination site set up at NYSEG Stadium in downtown Binghamton.

In Broome County, more vaccination clinics are being set up and some appointments for previously filled session can open up when people cancel.
