The building that housed the Oakdale Mall's second department store is being demolished, nearly a half-century after it opened at the Johnson City shopping complex.

The Bon-Ton Stores is about to be liquidated and that means the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City soon will have more vacant space.

Another anchor store at the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City may be vanishing soon.
