The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 3 a.m. February 28 with the possibility of several inches of snow.

The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. for Chenango Cortland, Delaware and Otsego Counties

The National Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for parts of the Twin Tiers.

Authorities are reporting slippery roads throughout the Twin Tiers and are urging motorists to, not only be aware of road conditions, but to also be careful around plows and salt trucks.

The National Weather Service says the Winter Weather Advisory for the Twin Tiers remains in effect until 7 p.m. December 22 with a possibility of a small accumulation of snow and a light glaze of ice with mixed precipitation.

Emergency Services officials around the region are reporting isolated slippery conditions mainly confined to the rural roads and higher elevations.

Emergency Services officials in Chenango and Tioga Counties are reporting road crews have been sent out to deal with some slippery conditions.
