Red Flag Warning

After the local fire department brought the flames under control, the property owner was fined.

Residents in the Twin Tiers and Central New York are again being warned of the heightened danger of wildfires April 29.

Northeast Pennsylvania is under a Red Flag Warning for the danger of wildfire.

The National Weather Service in Binghamton is cautioning Twin Tiers residents they could be facing hazards from wind and fire for several hours.
