Ithaca Police are investigating several burglaries where a person identifies himself as a New York State Electric and Gas worker.

It’s been a busy night for New York State Electric and Gas crews dealing with power outages scattered around the region.

New York State Electric and Gas is reporting 77 customers in the City of Binghamton without power to start March 28.

Snow only adds to the inconvenience for hundreds of New York State Electric and Gas customers in the Southern Tier who started a second day without power.

Utility companies in New York are being asked to increase their outreach and efforts to help consumer control their heating costs.
