Residents in the Twin Tiers and Central New York are again being warned of the heightened danger of wildfires April 29.

The fire danger is still being dealt with in the region and it’s not being helped by people engaging in illegal activities like burning brush or lighting off fireworks.

High winds overnight and into the early morning hours have caused a number of issues with trees and power lines.
