Senior citizens in the City of Binghamton can get some help in making the repairs their homes need in order to keep them safe.

The Firefighters Association of the State of New York is reacting to the quick drop in temperatures that they say is a “swift end to ‘Hotumn’” by issuing a safety statement.

As the heating season is about to get underway, to make sure their furnaces, fireplaces and woodstoves are serviced and inspected.
