A public hearing is to be scheduled for a proposal to give the developers of a hemp processing plant in Broome County a Payment in Lieu of Taxes deal.

A Kirkwood plant that makes components for Shop Vac wet/dry vacuum cleaners will be letting over 100 workers go in the next few months.
