Delaware County Fair

Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond says his department is ready for the opening of the 134 County Fair August 16, running through August 21.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say they were very busy during the recent run of the county fair, including the arrest of a ride operator.

A vendor at the Delaware County Fair says he understands why some people object to the sale of Confederate flags, but he says he does have a right to offer the objects to those who want to buy them.
