The Broome County Dog Shelter has the first babies in quite some time to be ready for adoption.

The B.C. Humane Society is one of 15 organizations in New York State participating in the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Free Adoption Day on May 5.

BC Humane Society says it found homes for 41 pets over the weekend during the “Empty the Shelters” free adoption event.
