The Binghamton Bearcats scored first and ended the first half tied with the Syracuse Orange at 1-1.  But the Orange scored two unanswered goals in the second half and downed BU 3-1 in men's soccer September 22 at the SU Soccer Stadium.  With the victory Syracuse ups its record to 4-2-1 while the Bearcats drop to 5-3-0.

Pascal Trappe got a feed from Logan Roberts to notch Binghamton's goal in the 19th minute.  Syracuse countered with a goal from Miles Robinson in the 32nd minute.  The teams remained tied as time ran out in the first half.

In the second half Kamal Miller scored what proved to the the eventual game-winner in the 71st minute of play.  Syracuse scored an insurance tally in the 84th minute from Noah Rhyehardt to make the final 3-1 in favor of Syracuse.

The Bearcats are next in action when they host Princeton September 26.
