Swinging Temps. Burst Pipes

The freezing and thawing is taking its toll on area infrastructure.

Fire departments and other services have been busy with burst pipes all around the region over the past few days.

While the Walton schools already had off through February 17, the students got another few days off so maintenance crews can mop up from a pipe that burst over the weekend.

The Conklin Town Hall had to be closed through February 18 due to a water line problem.
