Suspect and Drugs Found in Kirkwood

A man wanted on a parole warrant is in custody after deputies found him relaxing on the front porch of the Kirkwood Motel on Route 11 May 31.

Broome Sheriff’s officials say they found 20 year old Cody Austin, who says he lives at the motel, was in possession of hypodermic needles, cocaine and heroin.

Austin was wanted in Binghamton on a felony warrant for making a punishable false written statement.  He’s also to be arraigned in Town of Kirkwood Court for criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
