Two SUNY Broome Community College students have been indicted on felony counts in connection with a shooting incident on the Town of Dickinson campus.

20-year-old Jermaine Carr and 19-year-old Derrias Robinson were named in the indictment handed up by a Broome County Grand Jury. Carr and Robinson each face charges of reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds.

The charges stem from an October 29 incident inside the Student Village at SUNY Broome. Carr and Robinson allegedly caused a .45 caliber gun to discharge in Room 314D.

The bullet went through the floor and into the dorm room below. The two people in that room were not hurt.
