A Monroe County Court Judge has dismissed those charges against 20-year-old Brian Colaneri of Greece.

He and 19-year-old Vincent Vetromile of Greece, 18-year-old Andrew Crysel of East Rochester and a 16-year-old boy from Greece are accused of plotting the attack on the community near Hancock.

The four are accused of hatching the idea of attacking the Muslim enclave but the plot fell apart when word got out at school in Greece and a student alerted the authorities.

The four were indicted by a grand jury in February on charges of conspiracy, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted criminal possession of a weapon.

While the weapons charges against Colaneri were dismissed, he is still charged with two terrorism-related counts.

Charges against Vetromile and Crysel are also up for a review by Judge Samuel Valleriani this month.
