Slashing at Binghamton Church Dinner

Binghamton Police are investigating a report of a stabbing incident at a church dinner.

Witnesses reported two people argued at a dinner at the United Presbyterian Church on Chenango Street at around 5:30 p.m. April 19 when one person slashed another with a knife.

Others at the event were said to have disarmed the assailant.

No other information was being released by Binghamton Police.
