Sidney Couple Accused of Sexually Abusing 17-Month-Old Child

A Sidney couple will be sentenced in February after admitting they sexually abused a one and a half year old baby.

28 year old Justin Crandall and his wife, 27 year old Jessica Crandall pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child in Federal Court in Binghamton.

Federal prosecutors say while the couple babysitting the 17 month old child at their in-home daycare business, Justin Crandall used the baby to engage in sexually explicit acts while shooting videos and photos of himself in the act.

The pair faces 15 to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to 250-thousand dollars.
