Tickets for Jerry Seinfeld's two scheduled performances at the Forum Theatre in Binghamton sold out quickly.

Box office sales for the pair of Broome County shows began just before 10 a.m. Friday. A few dozen people had lined up to buy the tickets for the comedian's December 5 performances.

The cheapest seats - a few rows in the rear of the Washington Street venue - were available for $67.50. A small number of pricy seats in the front of the theater were offered for $125. Most tickets were available for $87.50.

County officials had predicted tickets for the Seinfeld shows would sell out.

People who didn't obtain tickets Friday through traditional sources might still be able to see the comedian when he visits Binghamton. Several online sites are offering seats for both performances at prices significantly above face value.
