Security Mutual Life Insurance Board of Directors Names New CEO
A man who joined Security Mutual Life Insurance less than two years ago has been elected chief executive officer by the board of directors of the Binghamton-based company.
Security Mutual on Thursday announced that Kirk Gravely will assume the CEO post on Sunday. Gravely has served as the firm's president and chief operating officer since November 2019. He'll continue as the company's president as he takes on the new role.
Gravely succeeds Bruce Boyea, who will continue as chairman of the Security Mutual board of directors.
Boyea was appointed president and CEO of the company in 1996.
