Remains in Susquehanna County Identified

Kathy Whyte/WNBF News [file][/caption]Pennsylvania State Police say they have identified the human remains found May 9 in Susquehanna County.

Authorities say they are still determining the cause of the death of 37 year old Jamie Nieves of Binghamton.

Nieves was reported missing to the New York State Police December 3^rd.

Investigators say the remains were found at around 11 a.m. in a wooded area off Meshoppen Creek Road in Bridgewater Township.

Toxicology and other forensic tests are being analyzed in the investigation.
