A Binghamton couple is accused of possessing crystal methamphetamine during a search of their Main Street home on Friday, October 18.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force says 39-year-old Timothy Bell and 31-year-old Stephania Starks are charged with several felony counts of drug possession.

Authorities say they recovered crystal meth., drug packaging materials and around 5-thousand dollars in suspected drug sales proceeds.

Bell and Starks are each charged with felony criminal possession of over an eighth ounce of meth, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Bell is additionally charged with two misdemeanor count of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

While Starks is charged with two felony counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

Police say in addition to the charges related to Friday’s raid, Starks was also being held on a warrant for petit larceny in Johnson City.
