Possible COVID Exposure Advisories in Broome, Chenango and Tioga Counties
There are advisories about possible exposure to COVID-19 coming from three health departments and a local charity.
The Broome County Health Department says anyone at the Joseph P. Mangan American Legion Post 1194 in Hillcrest October 23 between 2 and 6 p.m. should self-quarantine as someone there at that time tested positive for the coronavirus. Authorities say anyone who was at the Legion for ten or more minutes during those hours last Friday should stay in quarantine until November 7.
The Food Bank of the Southern Tier says mobile food pantries October 30 in Deposit, November 2 in Endwell and November 4 at Spencer Van Etten are canceled after someone working at its facility tested positive. The Food Bank says a few staff members will still be working at its warehouse and making limited deliveries while all volunteer and Production activities in the Warehouse were cancelled October 29.
Tioga County says there is possible exposure to people at the Hotel Bradford Brew House and Beer Garden in Sayre October 23 from 5 to 11 p.m. and the 24 from noon to 7 p.m. and the American Legion Post in Nichols on October 24 from 5 to 10 p.m. People at those locations and times are advised to monitor for symptoms for 14-days after the exposure.
The Chenango County Health Department has issued an advisory for anyone at the Greene Bowlodrome October 22 between 6 and 7 p.m. to self-quarantine for 14 days since someone had been at the bowling alley during their infectious period.
