Police Seize Marijuana In Kirkwood Traffic Stop
State police say more than four ounces of marijuana was found in a vehicle stopped for speeding on Route 17 in the town of Kirkwood.
Authorities say 22-year-old Travis Bryan of New York City was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
According to troopers, Bryan was arrested August 23 after the vehicle in which he was riding was pulled over.
Police say a trooper detected a strong odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle. The vehicle and its occupants were searched. Bryan, who had been riding in the front seat, was found to be in possession of the marijuana.
Bryan was ordered to appear in Kirkwood town court on September 1.
