The Associated Press reports Eight Oaks Farm distillery in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania is experimenting with even higher-proof alcohol sanitizer than the 62% alcohol commonly found in commerical product.  Distillery found Chad Butters says he grew so disgusted by the skyrocketing price of hand sanitizer online that he's also converted his operation.

Green Mountain Distillers in Morrisville, Vermont, is giving away a hand sanitizing solution and Durham Distillery in Durham, North Carolina, is donating one to hospitality colleagues, using high-proof alcohol and other ingredients.

In an interview aired by Spectrum Cable, Butters said he would prioritize distribution to social service groups and offices that serve those with compromised immune systems like patients undergoing cancer treatment.

He told the Associated Press he would sell the product for whatever people want to pay.
