Kathy Whyte/WNBF News [file][/caption]More than a month after two bodies were found at a home in Northeastern Pennsylvania, State Police are releasing some more information about the case, but the investigation continues.
Troopers say they have identified human remains in the home in Mount Pleasant Township in Wayne County April 10 as homeowner Joseph Mastropole. The body of Gaston Gomez, who was a longtime friend of Mastropole and living with him for the past year at the property where marijuana was being grown was also found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
DNA testing results on remains in a burn barrel are still pending.
Authorities say anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at (570) 253-7126.
