Officials with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says work is getting started on flood repair project on several routes in Bradford County.

PennDOT says work includes excavation, rock placement and concrete projects for scour protection at bridge abutments.  Crews are also still working to remove obstructions from stream channels and make repairs to roadways.

Work is being done through Terry, Asylum, Rome, Orwell, Windham and Granville Townships through the end of May.

PennDOT says motorists can expect signs and flaggers directing traffic during daylight hours when weather permits.
