Parolee Accused of DWAI to Probation Meeting in Delhi

A Sidney man is accused of driving while ability impaired to go meet with his probation officer.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say 53-year-old Jason Babcock is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and driving while ability impaired.

Authorities say they were called at 10:55 a.m. October 30 by Delaware County Probation Officers alleging Babcock had driven to his probation meeting in Delhi while under the influence of alcohol while possessing a conditional driver’s license.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Dehli Court at a later date.
