Parole Violator Found Hiding in Town of Dickinson Bathroom
Broome County Sheriff's officials say they arrested a Binghamton man for a parole violation and harassment after a woman reported being attacked by a male friend at the Econolodge on Old Front Street in the Town of Dickinson at around 9 a.m. September 23.
Officials say 29 year old Kareem Gibson took a taxi cab from the motel before authorities arrived.
He was later found hiding in a bathroom of a second floor apartment on Adams Street in the Prospect Terrace neighborhood of the Town of Dickinson.
Investigators say Gibson was on parole for a felony drug offense and already had a warrant out for violating that parole.
Gibson was sent to the Broome County Jail.
Deputies say the woman suffered a black eye and other minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
