An international delivery is landing a Binghamton man in Federal custody.

Authorities say Edward Ciarleglio signed for the delivery of a package from India that contained nearly 50 thousand dollars worth of heroin.  After taking delivery of the package, Ciarleglio reportedly called another person, identified as "Jaypee", and asked when that person could take care of the package.

Ciarleglio has admitted to knowing the package contained drugs.  He is charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute over 100 grams of heroin.

The Southside Binghamton man is now in the custody of the U.S. Marshal's Service.
