Pa. State Police Join Twitter

The Pennsylvania State Police are launching a new Twitter account to get information out to residents in the Troop R area that includes Susquehanna and Wayne Counties.

The service is available by going to @PSPTroopR.

Officials say the account will not only inform, but will allow residents to provide information to authorities.

The account is to monitored 24 hours a day.
