Pa. Men Arrested in Kirkwood With Illegal Loaded Handgun

Two Pennsylvania men are facing charges after New York State Police say they found a loaded handgun in a vehicle they stopped for speeding on Colesville Road in the Town of Kirkwood at 3:45 p.m. March 10.

Troopers say neither 22 year old Kody Kemp of Friendsville nor 30 year old Scott Maxey of Montrose had a license for the weapon.  Authorities say they also found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Kemp and Maxey are charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and were sent to the Broome County Jail.
