Pa. Fence Company Accused of Taking Thousands of Dollars and Doing No Work
Pennsylvania State Police say a Lycoming County fencing company is accused of bilking an elderly Bradford County man out of thousands of dollars.
Officials say the owner of Lyco Fencing LLC allegedly accepted $9,081.41 from the 89-year-old Canton man to do work on his property two years ago and the job was never even started.
A check of business sites on-line showed numerous complaints against Lyco Fence of South Williamsport.
The police report from the Towanda Barracks does not specifically mention the name of the owner of the company and only listed the Canton resident in the complaint report.
Investigators say the investigation is into allegations of "theft by deception."
The State Police say their investigation is continuing.
