New York State Police are looking for people who are using mobile devices while driving through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Troopers will be in marked and unmarked cars during 'Operation Hang Up' to track down violators of the state's cell phone laws.

Violators face a possible fine of up to $150 with an $85 surcharge. Talkative motorists could also get two points on their driving record or three points if they are caught texting behind the wheel.
