Broome County Sheriff’s investigators say more charges are being filed against a Nineveh man who was arrested earlier this month, accused of stealing a car in the Town of Colesville.

Authorities say several people told them they had seen 54 year old Clifford Sampson III driving the 2004 Chevrolet Impala and the man was taken into custody at his home and charged with grand larceny.

At the time of the arrest, investigators had said they had not been able to locate the stolen vehicle.

In a new statement from Investigators, officials say they found out what happened to the Impala and Sampson is now additionally charged with forgery and falsifying business records.
