New York State Police Celebrate 100 Years

The New York State Police are celebrating 100 years of service with an Open House at the Troop C headquarters in Sidney Saturday, October 7.

The event featuring demonstrations including helicopter rescues, the K-9 Unit and Special Operations will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p,m.

Parking is on Delaware Avenue and Union Street with shuttle buses taking people to the headquarters.

The celebration is free and there will be some merchandise and food for sale by vendors.
