New York Starts ‘Landing Site’ For Clearer COVID Information Reporting

New York Governor Kathy Hochul says residents have been clamoring for better information they can analyze themselves regarding COVID cases, deaths and vaccinations in the state and that’s prompted the launch of a new “data landing page.”

The centralized website, that includes better hospital and nursing home reporting as well as reorganization of previously released data can be found here:

Residents who visit the page will find 10 sets divided out by topic on one opening page.  Visitors to the central website can then click on the specific category like “long term care facilities”, “schools” or “testing, cases and variants”.

State officials say more COVID-19 data is also now being made available on data.ny.gov.
