The regular National Football League (NFL) schedule ended yesterday with all three New York teams on the outside looking in.  The Giants and Bills knew they could not advance into post-season action but the New York Jets were stunned by the Buffalo Bills 22-17  in Orchard Park to prevent the Jets from getting into the post-season  The Jets finished 10-6 but needed to beat the Bills and have Pittsburgh lose to Cincinnati to clinch a playoff spot.

The Jets held their fate in their own hands but could not seal the deal as Ryan Fitzpatrick  threw three interceptions on the final three possessions and Buffalo got the win.  Former Jets' coach and current Buffalo coach Rex Ryan won the duel this season.  His Bills defeated the Jets in both regular season games.
