New York State is reporting its 37th day of having the percentage of positive test results for COVID-19 come in at under one percent… but just barely.

During the September 13 briefing, the state reported of the 72,668 tests conducted September 12, .99% came back positive for COVID-19. 

New York had 725 new cases of the coronavirus September 12 for a total of 444,365.  There were six additional deaths for a total of 25,390 since the start of the pandemic.

Broome County September 13 reports 1,303 positive cases and 82 deaths.  Chenango County’s positive count has grown to 242 with seven deaths.  The numbers from Cortland County September 13 added nine from the report on September 12 to 147 and one death.  Delaware County September 11 reported 117 cases, up one from the previous day with six deaths and Tioga County added one case from the September 12 report to 229 and the death toll remains at 25.
