New York City Man Sentenced for Binghamton Rape

A New York City man is to serve 14 years in state prison for raping a teenaged girl at a home in Binghamton.

Police arrested 33 year old Barkin Granger and charged him with felony rape for the attack on a 15 year old girl.

He was convicted of two counts in June of 2014.

The Broome County District Attorney says Granger is a second violent felony offender and had a prior felony assault conviction.
